In October 2023, we were selected to receive a grant from Texas Forest Service for Fire/Rescue Equipment. Members decided the best use of these funds was to purchase new Rescue Tool (Jaws of Life) due to the number of vehicle crashes we respond to. December 19, 2024 we took delivery of our new TNT battery powered extrication tools and placed them in service.
Toy Drive
We know it’s not Halloween yet, however we wanted to get this out as early as possible. It’s that time of year we are starting our toy drive. If you are needing assistance please contact us by phone, email or direct message so we can get you an application. The application deadline is 11/30/2020!
For those interested in donating a toy there will be drop boxes for toys at Dollar General, the Post Office, and The Rock Yard Kitchen & Bar.
There will also be change jars located at Chubbs Liquor, Bluebonnet Meat Co., Kwik Chek in Trenton, and Magers Food Store. All the money collected from these change jars will go directly to purchasing toys.

The last couple of years we have worked to update our fleet. In addition to our new engine and newer SCBA’s that we purchased in 2017, this year we purchased a 2012 Ford and converted it into a rescue truck replacing the 1996 unit we were using and added an additional brush truck with the purchase of a 1992 Chevy that has 2010 skid unit on it. We are working on several grants to assist us in purchasing and upgrading our equipment.
